Jag akte ner pa stan med min syster (vilket helvete)  igar kvall. Hon ville veta hur mycket nagra prydnadsdjur kostade sa vi gick in for att prata med forsaljaren.

Jag - How much for the camel?

Han - 180

Jag - Ok. Come outside here. How much for the big elephant here?

Han - This one? 450. And you get camel for 150.

Jag - Ok, and how much for the smaller elephant?

Han - 200. And you get  camel for 120. And the large elephant for 400

Jag - Ok..

Han - The large elephant for 350. And the small one for 180

Jag - ok..

Han - You know I sold this large one to another tourist. Not you, another one, stupid tourist, not you. You smart. I sold it to him 480.

Jag - That does not speak in favour of you.

Han - What?

Jag - Never mind. I'll be back, I don't have any money on me right now.

Han - Ok, if you come back I give you the camel for 100. The large elephant for 320 and the small one for 150.

Jag - Ok, have a nice night.

Utan att jag sa ett ord sa gick han ner 260 egyptiska pund. Samst. Jag kopte naturligtvis ingenting, men det var lite underhallande enda.

I morgon befinner vi oss i Kairo. Vid pyramiderna och vid Sfinxen. Men forst och framst vantar en 7 timmar lang bussresa som inleds om ett par timmar...
